LoveGoBuy T-Shirts: Choose the Proportions as Well as the Print

A graphic can attract your attention before you notice the shape of the T-shirt.

A graphic can attract your attention before you notice the shape of the T-shirt. For a useful LoveGoBuy shortlist, compare both. Decide whether the shirt will be worn on its own, tucked in or beneath an outer layer, then check the dimensions that affect that use.

Start with the part you want visible

Browse T-shirts on OG

OG lists a white graphic T-shirt with a smiling floral lightbulb print. Use it as a concrete design to inspect, not as proof of a particular fabric or print quality.

If the graphic is the reason you like it, consider how you will wear it. A jacket worn closed can cover the detail, while tucking can change how much of the lower front remains visible. Check the product images for placement rather than assuming every size presents the print in exactly the same proportions.

Decide which dimensions matter most

Compare a shirt you already wear in a similar way. Body width, length and sleeve proportions can each change the result. More width does not necessarily give you the body length you want, and a longer shirt may not solve a tight sleeve.

Use the product's own measuring instructions. The size guide explains how to compare numbers from matching points. Do not substitute a familiar letter size for the actual chart, or treat a model photograph as a measurement.

Think about the outer layer too

If the T-shirt will sit under a jacket, compare the two choices together. Decide whether you want the shirt hem visible and whether its sleeve shape fits the way you intend to layer it.

The jacket guide covers the outer layer. This is an outfit-planning comparison, not a claim that two linked products have been tested together.

Do not infer fabric properties from colour

A white shirt is not automatically opaque or lightweight. A close image can show surface details, but it cannot establish softness, breathability or the way it will feel after washing.

Look for the material and care information relevant to the exact option. If a property is important to your purchase and the listing does not answer it, ask before deciding. Avoid assigning a fabric weight or shrinkage expectation based only on a photograph.

Inspect the selected graphic and finish

When suitable photos are available, compare the graphic, colour and visible construction with the selected offer. Keep the view attached to the correct item. A similar print from another purchase is not an inspection of yours.

If an edge or seam is hidden, ask for a view of that area. The QC guide helps keep the request specific. A clear photograph can show a visible concern; it does not establish long-term print durability.

Choose how many you actually need

Several graphics may compete for the same role in your wardrobe. Save them as alternatives until you choose. Buying every candidate because each seems inexpensive can turn a small comparison into a larger order than intended.

Check quantity and option when returning to the offer. Use the shipping guide for the resulting parcel instead of assuming another shirt adds no transport cost.

T-shirt questions

Should I size up for a relaxed look?

Compare the cut and dimensions first. A different size may change length and sleeve proportions as well as width.

Does the title tell me how the print was made?

Not unless the relevant process is actually specified—and a listing description is still not an independent durability test.

Can I use one chart for several similar shirts?

Use the chart for the selected product and version. Similar graphics do not establish identical cuts.
