LoveGoBuy Link: Check the Destination Before Saving a Product
A LoveGoBuy link is useful when it takes you back to the item you meant to compare.
A LoveGoBuy link is useful when it takes you back to the item you meant to compare. A page that opens successfully can still be a category, a search result or a different variant from the one you saved. Before treating a link as ready for a purchase, identify what it actually points to and record the product details you need to recognize it again.
Give the destination a clear label
Separate discovery pages from individual product references. A category helps you browse alternatives; it does not identify one selected item. A search result may contain several similar designs. A product page narrows the choice, but you still need to check its available options.
For example, open this floral crossbody bag on OG as an individual product reference. Keep its identifying description beside the URL. Do not substitute a general bag category when the question concerns that exact design.
Save the intended option, not only the address
Record the colour, size or other option you intend to compare. Some pages use the same address for several options, so the URL alone may not preserve your selection. When you return, check the displayed option instead of assuming it remembers your earlier choice.
For a bag, useful identifying details may include the pattern, closure and selected size. Keep measurements separate from impressions taken from the photograph. The accessories guide helps decide which details would affect your purchase.
Inspect an unexpected destination before interacting
If a saved address redirects, read the destination before entering information. A page asking for credentials is not a reason to provide them without checking where you are. Avoid following an unfamiliar message that offers to repair your shopping link in exchange for account access.
If the result is a different item, do not silently replace the saved reference. Record the original candidate and compare the new page as a separate option. A similar picture does not prove the same product, seller or purchase conditions.
Distinguish a failed load from a lost product
A blank screen or incomplete page does not establish that the product has been removed. Note what you observed and check the saved item description before searching again. Likewise, a working image preview is not proof that the full product page and its options remain usable.
Do not mark a replacement as confirmed until you can identify its contents. Where the original option cannot be established, keep the purchase unresolved rather than guessing from a thumbnail. This matters especially when two designs differ only in dimensions or included accessories.
Keep the comparison connected to the next decision
A useful spreadsheet row contains the address, a recognizable description, the intended option, the date you checked it and the question still affecting your choice. That question might concern a strap measurement or the contents of a pack. Avoid storing account tokens or private order links in a public list.
Use the links organization guide when several candidates accumulate. Once you have identified an item, the QC-photo guide helps prepare checks for the actual product rather than for a generic image. The point of saving the link is to preserve a decision you can revisit, not simply to collect another clickable address.
